Medicine Buddha (Bhaiṣajyaguru) Statue. Medicine Buddha, also know as Bhaiṣajyaguru (formally Bhaiṣajya-guru-vaiḍūrya-prabhā-rāja) is the Buddha of healing and medicine in Mahāyāna Buddhism. Medicine Buddha is depicted seated, wearing the three robes of a Buddhist monk, holding a lapis-colored jar of medicine nectar in his left hand and the right hand resting on his right knee, holding the stem of the Aruna fruit (or Myrobalan) between thumb and forefinger. This statue is hand cast, ornately detailed solid brass with a dark patina. Size is approximately 5.5 cm's tall; Perfect for use on a travel shrine/altar. Available gold plated (Rolled Gold, aka Gold Filled), or plain brass. The minimum quantity order is 5 pieces per statue and 10 statues total.
