Lacquered Monks Oryoki Set. This set is the traditional Soto Zen monks set for oryoki practice. The large "Buddha" bowl is 3" high and 5" in diameter, with a rounded bottom, which nests in the cup of the smallest bowl as a base. Finished with food grade (urushi) lacquers, approved by FDA standards.

Use and care instructions:
• Lacquerware should be hand washed with dish soap and a soft sponge, but not soaked in water. They are not dishwasher safe, and will be damaged by abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Do not put the bowls in the microwave.
