Brass Vajra Hooked Knife (Sanskrit: kartari or Tibetan: Tri Gug) Dragon Pendant, 2.5 cm's x 2.5 cm's, with the chain loop on the back. Available in white rhodium plated, black rhodium plated, gold plated (Rolled Gold, aka Gold Filled), or plain brass.
The kartika symbolizes the severance of all material and worldly bonds and is crowned with a vajra, which is said to destroy ignorance, and leads to enlightenment. The kartika is a key ritual implement in the Tibetan Buddhist practice of Chöd and is one of Vajrayogini's attributes. In the iconography of the dakini, she generally appears with the hooked kartika knife in her right hand.
